Welcome!

This course introduces the concept of Recovery-Centered Organizations and is part of a five-part Introductory Webinar Series designed to build a foundational understanding of the values, principles, and practices that support recovery across diverse organizational settings.

Recovery-centered organizations are not limited to a single structure or model. Instead, they reflect a commitment to embedding recovery-oriented values, such as hope, person-driven support, respect, equity, and community inclusion, into policies, environments, and everyday practice. Organizations in healthcare, social services, behavioral health, housing, and community settings can all become recovery-centered by aligning their work with these principles.

In this course, participants will explore what it means for an organization to be recovery-centered, how recovery values shape organizational culture and decision-making, and the ways recovery-centered approaches strengthen outcomes for individuals, families, and communities. Learners will also consider how these principles can be applied within their own roles and organizational contexts.
