Faces & Voices of Recovery’s Recovery Leadership Summit (RLS) serves as a national event to support connection with recovery leaders and showcase the impact recovery and advocacy have on individuals and their communities. Session Description

Now at our twentieth anniversary, we trim last year’s vegetation and nourish the roots that have allowed the Recovery Movement to flower and grow – advocacy. Join the members of the Faces & Voices of Recovery Public Policy Committee for a lively discussion as we look to the future. Through the building of new relationships with decision-makers and key partners, we continue to prioritize the faces and voices of those in recovery, those using substances, and their families.

The Public Policy Committee ensures that Individuals in recovery from substance use disorder, family members, allies, and other stakeholders provide meaningful involvement in national efforts advocating for public policies and funding that support addiction recovery for all.

This discussion will explore current efforts made by Faces & Voices in Recovery and the Public Policy Committee to influence policy, grow public awareness, and mobilize communities. Through this empowering panel of guests, let us sow the expectation of recovery and raise our voice – we’ve got growing to do.
