Key Symptoms:

Emotional Symptoms: 

  • Increased irritability and anger 
  • Decreased ability to experience joy 
  • Feelings of hopelessness and detachment 
  • Emotional numbness 

Physical Symptoms:

  • Chronic fatigue 
  • Headaches and muscle tension 
  • Sleep disturbances (insomnia or excessive sleep) 
  • Increased somatic complaints (stomach aches, back pain) 

Cognitive Symptoms:

  • Difficulty concentrating 
  • Decreased decision-making ability 
  • Intrusive thoughts about work-related stress 
  • Feeling constantly overwhelmed
